Target Audience

My target audience is millennials mainly focusing on women's fashion and beauty trends. My audience will have a passion for all things glamourous and will want to know about all the best designer fashion. I will include beauty in my magazine, my readers may also be beauty therapists and fashion designers who are getting inspiration from my magazine. I am going to price my magazine at £3. I looked into other fashion magazines prices and found that my magazine will hit this type of price. I feel as though this is an affordable price for anyone and the price won't put off my readers from purchasing my magazine. 

When looking into target audience I normally look on the website YouGov, however, I came across an issue that they do not show the target audience for magazines. I improvised by google searching the results. 






I shared my survey online, this was useful as I got a range of different answers. 




                                                                                                  

When looking at my results, I found more people don't read magazines than people who do. This creates an issue for me as people may not want to buy my magazine, maybe creating a decrease in sales. Although from the results I also found that more people read fashion magazines, this is a positive for me because the people who do read magazines are looking at fashion. As I am including articles in my magazine I wanted to know if people would read them. I found that articles are not popular to read through when reading a magazine. I will work around this by making my articles short and sweet so the readers won't get bored. I got many ideas for what possible readers would like in my magazine. Things like: Trends, fashion tips and best buys, all of which I am going to include in my magazine. 
I then asked how much people would pay for a magazine, most said up to £5. I am going to price my magazine at £3, as I feel £5 is too high for my magazine. I also think it is a good price and matches the types of prices of magazines that are already on the market.
